At the moment I have 8 midfield players, and I am looking on general advice on how to structure my midfield for the following years. What would you do in my place, and how would you develop your Borussia? I am interested in general advice, and some discussion.

N. Sahin
- homegrown DM/MC. One of the best players in game. Can play as DLP, RGA, APM, and CM (s)

K. Ajer
- soon to be homegrown. Great potential can play in any mid position: DM, CM, AM. Works in a lot of ways, and can be train into anything.

J. Weigl
- homegrown DM/MC. Diverse midfielder with bags of potential

H. Herrera
- one of my top 4 mids, along Gundogan, Kagawa and Sahin. Box to Box mid?

A. Balic
- can be best trained into an attacking-minded CM, but could even become a Shadow Striker.

I. Gungogan
- my best player. An Amazing advanced playmaker, but how should I set him up in tactics?

D. Burnic
- A deep-lying playmaker or a registra.

S. Kagawa
- my best AMC, seems to be solid in game.

In addition, in other positions I have

DL: M. Schmelzer/ J. Willems
DR: E. Durm/ Matteo Darmian
DC: M. Hummels/ M. Ginter/ N. Subotic

AML: M. Reus, H. Mkhitaryan
AMR: J. Hoffmann, G. Barbosa

ST. P. Aubameyang, Leo Baptistao

Regarding tactics
First of all, I am a total noob. I have been experimenting, and finding decent results with the default options, but I do not have an idea on how to tune the tactics according to the strength of my team.

As of moment, I do not have a particular tactics, but I was thinking of:

4-2-3-1 (Wide)
Possession and attacking

4-1-2-3 (DM)
Counter-Attacking with creative wingers
