So want to get him as he is a quality DM. I have two options: buy him from Inter for 2.1M, or offer him a contract. For his contract, however, he is asking for 25K p/w with a 25% wage increase that will last for only 3 years (he's 17). So clearly, I feel that would be far too much. What should I do?

If you have plenty of cash it shouldn't be a problem for a player of his potential but if you want to chance it you could offer him a non-negotiable contract.
