Recently, I loaded up my save and played a few games and then checked my player's PA. Some who looked promising had 4.5* PA but decreased by 1*-2*.

And that has sort of totally killed my interest.

Not to mention the fact that the past season, 2 players in Nani and Evra came to me and said that they had an increasing desire for a new challenge. (Can someone explain to me why this happens ?)

I know PA is not everything in the game but the thing I loved the most about the game and football in general is the development of young and young-ish players.

But how can I rekindle my interest for it ? Opinions ?

I don't think PA can drop, except through injuries, nor is it based on your squad. Did you check it with a different member of staff this time? it's possible one had really high judge PA and the other had really low judge PA?

PA is most certainly related to your current squad. If you signed better players than what you had before in their positions then they won't look as good in comparison as they once did. Also, remember that star ratings isn't the be all and end all. I have one 4* and one 5* potential youth both 19, both same position, yet the 4* has developed and is playing better then the 5*. My top scorer was rated as 3* yet outperformed the 4.5* rated backup.

It could be injuries but those players didn't have long term ones. I checked through the squad list. I use the same scout everytime but all of a sudden it changed.

Is age a factor ?

Who did you buy? * rating is only how good he is compared to the rest of you squad, its not related that much to the players PA.

If you buy better players or other players improve in his position it'll drop down.

It happened mid season.

That season I didn't buy anyone else in his position.
