Hi all, sorry if this isnt in the right place. since i started to play fm 2010, i have coached many many teams, at this point only three of those made me very proud of myself, Leverkusen - i won bundesliga and the german cup three times in a row, then got sacked because they didnt gave me any money for tranfers and the Chairman did not accept a offer for a improved salary, then MY PRIDE AND JOY, Manchester City, first year I won EPL, Carling Cup and FA Cup, i was in the second season without loosing for a year, A ******* YEAR, then my laptop jammed, i restarted it and when i tried to load the game it appeared the XML error, the file got corrupted, i was in tears :'(

I also have a Napoli save, in 20 games I'm Undefeated, but i got bored since by team depends only on Ezequiel 'El Pocho' Lavezzi

well, my point is i get bored very easily, im currently managing Tottenham, and the team isnt playing like i want, so I deleted the ******* ..
I dont wanna go to MCFC right now, but I have a dream on Taking Genoa to high standards of european football

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME? i know this is a stupid thread, but at least i get to share my frustations with my compagnions :)

Give me some advice on what i should do, please , cheers

Try out in the bottom playable teir of a country, ive found enjoyment playing in the bottom league of portugal as boavista, and the bottom league of germany as lok leipzig, when you pick the team, do a wikipedia search on them, you get some background information, being good teams all the time is not fun imo

I think im a good football manager player, but not that good mate! My ultimate goal in FM is to venge in Italy, and despite being an A.C milan fan , i just cant coach them, and that 4-1-2-1-2 tactic is very irritating! I see people in this forum taking '******' teams to the top , and i know i dont have that capability mate. I've tried to start a save with Genoa, went to genie to see what was the best tactic, and it was 3.4.3, I CANNOT PLAY LIKE THAT, the pre season went well, then serie a began and in 5 matches i had 5 draws, it ****** me off ..

I want to start with them again, but with true honesty, i miss my city save

btw, as an oporto fan , i tend to deslike boavista very much , although they are in the ******* at the moment ..

Thats why its fun, its a challenge, unlike man city where you just spend 200 million every summer on a team of class players, its all about working on a tight budget

I enjoyed my fm09 save as Atletico CP in Portugal. Perhaps you should try Australia or South Korea?

Not especially, go into the real lower leagues, trust me, i thought of it as stupid at first, but i do most of my management there now

3 words, lower league management ;)

leeds could work to start with as they have potential to get to the top

as in leeds united, or BSP ?

Wherever you feel most comfortable mate. It's just much more fun to play with a smaller team. Don't get me wrong, I often have save games with big teams however I find it much more rewarding winning the League with someone like Accrington than Chelsea or someone :) Also don't use the tactics genie scout suggests, use which ever tactic YOU want to use.

thank you all for helping me with is, hope I didnt bothered you, thanks to Joe, Ben and Callum, cheers . I will follow your advice Ben, thnks mate :D

go to agree lower leagues are brill. I went AS Cannes in the bottom of the french football league got promoted to top league in four seasons and left for Arsenal (only reason i left for arsenal cause that was my challenge do brill with a lower league team and get offered a big job). the budget was quite low for AS Cannes and most of my transfers were loans and frees.
