So I am portsmouth, in january, have a first team squad of 12 players. only 1 coach, but this is what i've got in the bank:

Transfer: £1,788,352.
Wage: £149,160.

I am spending £147,827 a week on wages.

When offering a contract to a player I want to buy the maximum I can offer is £90.

I am even struggling to field a team.

Tough situation, but I guess you knew that, having a go at Pompey...
Begging for more money from the chairman probably wouldn't work, as there is no money. The only way to get more for wages, is to adjust the budget (more for wages, less for transfers). But then you would probably not be able to buy the players you want... :@

What I would do: Adjust budget to £0 for transfers, all for wages. Then look for free transfers and loan players (lots of good Premier League reseves and youth out there). This should get you through the season. Then hope for better finances in the summer... :P

Exactly what Torglenn said, just change the budget and hunt for free players.
