Good player, thought he could have done job at big European clubs. But i feel he his bit overrated. Had few good season, and all of a sudden people rated him so high. He is a good player but nothing more than that.

Saw an interview with him the other day, he was saying he wants to return to Brazil as it has the World Cup and the excitement generated by it means the Brazilian leagues will grow.

It's more or so like Ronaldinho's excuse, probably: he wants to get closer to Mano Menezes and get a real shot at being called to Brazil's national squad after the WC failure.

I remember Robinho saying something like that when he moved to Santos on loan...

There aren't too many big European clubs who will offer a 30 year-old a 4 year long contract these days. Could be a contributing factor.
