how can i get eh best of him?

Poacher or advanced forward with Carroll as Target man. As long as you have decent wingers who can cross, Carroll will score, if he doesn't then Suarez will pick up on it and score.

try him a deep lying forward support, with Carroll as target man attack.

Have floated balls into the box, and have Carroll 'hold up the ball' put Suarez's mentality full, and creative freedom 203 clicks from full.

Play Gerrard just behind 'em.

This is what I did and Suarez ended up with 44 goals, Carroll had 20 goals and 20+assists.

Yeah, he's always injured for me too. Comes back a few games and gets injured again.
