Luka Modric

I have been playing with Spurs and am now into 2011/2012 and have finally built up a good side with some good prospects. We have evolved into a 4-1-2-1-2 formation with a superstar destined to play in the no.10 role behind the front 2. Why isnt Luka Modric that man!!! No matter how i adjust his tactical settings he doesnt seem to produce! The rest of the team are playing well, stopping, scoring and creating goals but Luka is always a distant 6.00 rating. These perfomances by the way have impressed Barca enough to offer £40m for him?!?!?! Any suggestions on how to use him properly or wether he should be dumped in favour of another player.

Modric is class mate, from my 09 experience, I think players are like IRL, they have good and bad times, like a striker who gets some time without scoring and then starts scoring like ****. So, give a chance to Modric, he should start getting better eventually.

I would not do that, But that's my mentality in football, no player should have a free role and leave his position, possibly leaving the team short in a certain area

I like my team to stay solid and disciplined. I let the two CM's spray the ball to the wingers who have high dribbling and flair attributes (Young, Mata, Robinho, Mcbride, a regen). Works good for me, I find on FM 08 having an AM worked wonders but in FM 09 you need it to have the right settings for the team and not the player.

I'm playing as Man U and signed Modric. I play him as a AM left, basically a left winger. He is always one of my best performers playing there. Class player.
