Mixed Pre Season For The Silkmen

Macclesfield manager James Wilson says that his Silkmen side endured a mixed pre son despite only winning one game. ''Yes we might have only won one game but pre season is more than just playing friendly's it's also about improving your squad and getting the prepared both mentally and physically for the new season, iv managed to bring in three new faced Andy Drury, Danny Uchechi and Emexca Orwubiko''. The Silkmen also lost two players this pre season with Kristian Dennis and Craig Lindfield both leaving the Moss Rose.

The Silkmen face a tough start to the new season with a tough away trip opener to recently relegated Northampton follwed by another tough away trip to Championship side Doncaster Rovers and then a home game to league favourites Notts County.
