Major Bug: Can't Manage National Teams

The following happened: i applied for Chile. After a week they said they wanted me for the job so i accepted. but instead of takink managerial control over the team, the same message keeps appearing for months, sayin "Chile wants Pedro". And of course i keep accepting. but thats just it. i only accept, i never come to take control of it. it just keeps endlessly asking if i accept the job, every single week. i tried with cameroon too, and the same happened =/ im currently managing a team (benfica), and i'm on first season. World Cup 2010 is now happening, and chile is playing, without a manager..can someone help please?
 
But that means i'll have to starta new game, right? the patch won't affect my actual save
 
no, installing the patch will allow you to continue your current save, you will even be able to take the national job on that save :)

all Match Engine and bug fixes take effect immediately, but you'd have to start a new game for the datbase updats
 
I doesn't work to me... Actually, before installing the patch 3 I was not allowed to accept it (I did, but i wasn't appointe as manager).
I installed the patch 3, everything in the game changd by now it rejects the national job automatically. I tried to installe the patch 1 but i cannot as i have already installed the third... Any solution to that? i am stuck cause i want to take the job but i had to go out without saving!

I tried again, going on holiday, and it automatically rejects the national job offer.
is there any way to set the automatic options on "accept all jobs offers"?

Do anybody has the same problem?
 
This is the third thread on this i have seen today what is wrong today or are all of you new to FM10?
 
i am new in the forum but not with the game.... anyway, all the threads suggest that installing the patch it will be fixed, while i am trying to say that

- since i have installed the third patch it automatically rejects all the national jobs!!!!!

easy mick, he was telling that the boy could search threads, but ok ..

try to reiinstall the game , then ( it Worked for me) install the first patch 10.1 and then 10.3 , give it a try :)
 
thanks, i was thinking of that, can i save my game in a different file and reopen it when i have installed again?
i supposed the problem was the direct upgrade to patch 3, just, i dont want to loose my game cause things are goin quite fine! :)

find the file, save it to a memory stick, uninstall then reinstall football manager and then put the save back in the folder you got it from and you will be able to carry on from where you were.
