Major.. MAJOR problem!!!! HELP!!!!

Alright.. I don't have enough Home grown players in my squad and I need to register for the ECC. I can't possibly get any players that have been trained by the club for 3 years, so how do I get around this or is my only option to resign? I've only been at the club for the remainder of last season (won the league) and for 5 games this season (made a few quality signings)

Please, please help, I don't want to resign.
 
you can either leave enough spaces to make up the difference or go on holiday for a day and let your assistant handle it. most people recommend the latter option but i prefer the former as i know there's definately no-one missed out that i want in there.
 
Holiday seems like a good choice, but I don't even have any home grown players in the youth/reserves, so how can my assistant manager sort it?
 
it says if minimum squad rules cannot be reached then leave enough spaces which is what i always do when i'm in that situation so i'm not entirely sure how the assistent sorts it but i'd guess that's what he does.

He will sort it no matter what. Don't know how.

Try it and see. It'll probably generate some greyed out English players.
