Gentlemen,

I am playing the demo of this game for 5 hours now and am enjoying it a lot. So far by using the help system, some searching on this forum and on google I was able to answer all my questions.

Here is the first thing I cant solve:

I am managing Brighton (npower league 1) and have so far only played 2 friendly games. I got a mail about an "Invitation to England trial day". In that mail a player "Omar Karoma" was highlite("Gambian striker previously at Portsmouth"). In his details it says "Availability: Available; squat status: None; Transfer Options: Unknown.".

I would like to make him an offer but the "Make an offer" button on the upper right is missing.

What could be the cause for this? I have done a lot of searching for this problem but all that comes up are very complicated situations where some people want to transfer players which are "dual owned" (I dont even know what that means :) but my situation seems very simple. The player is supposed to be available and without a team. So why cant I make an offer?

Thanks for any ideas!

Has the friendly game been played yet? If not then you can't sign him, but I think you have to watch them.

You need to wait until after the game before you can sign them.

After the trial match is played the players involved can be signed on a free.
