Make Carroll score

Im using Andy Carroll as a lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation but .... i can't get him to score so do you guys wich role that will make him score or wich role that suit him best ?

i find he plays best if you play him as a complete forward set your team to play more direct and set him as your target man with target supply to head, has banged in quite a few for me at ipswich in 2013/2014 season
