Make the Player Happy?

Hi

It seems for me to re-instate Garry Neville as captain, he needs to be "happy" rather than "unhappy". I have tried everything from recommended signings to lots of first team football, any ideas on how else I can make him happy?

Though I usually don't re-instate captains, you might want to try this...

- lucrative new contract
- praise him in the press
- open the "interaction" menu and do anything you think will raise his morale
- look in his "personal" information and see if there is anything bothering him, then rectify that
- sign a coach/player he recommends (again, if possible)

Often, a player will simply state he does not wish to be in the running for the captaincy and there is nothing you can do since forcing the captaincy on someone won't be good for the team.
