Gill Injured In Old Firm Debut
Rangers' new signing Andrew Gill was injured in Saturday's Old Firm clash after a malicious tackle from Celtic's Scott Brown. Gill, 25, signed for Rangers from Spanish club Malaga for an undisclosed fee.

Walter Smith refused to comment on the injury in his post match interview, but assistant manager Ally McCoist last night indicated that Gill's injury may possibly end the striker's career.

Los Bermellones End Search For New Manager
Mallorca have ended their search for a new manager, appointing former Malaga striker Andrew Gill. Gill, who has earned 3 Scotland caps, had his career cut short 2 seasons ago playing for Rangers in his first Old Firm game, and has since been managing the Maltese national side.

Mallorca chairman Tomeu Vidal told a major Spanish newspaper he is delighted to have appointed Gill, and believes this is the start of a new era for the island club.

Gill's Diary
I don't know how to describe the emotions I'm feeling right now. Life has been such a rollercoaster. Just over a year ago, I was lying in a Glasgow hospital bed, being told I would never play football again, and that there was even a possibility I would never walk again. Weeks after signing for my beloved Glasgow Rangers, I had my career ended at the age of 25.

That was an experience I could never go through again. But look at my life now, I can not believe how it has changed since then. I moved to Malta with my girlfriend and got a job managing the national team, beating San Marino and Andorra in friendlies, and now I've been signed by R.C.D. Mallorca S.A.D.. I honestly can't believe it. I have to thank my family, my friends back in Scotland, everyone at Rangers, Malaga and Mallorca football clubs, my Maltese friends and most of all you, the fans, for supporting me through this. Thank you.

Anyway, moving on to more exciting stuff, as you know Mallorca have now signed Ronaldo and Diop which I am absolutely ecstatic about! Both of them (Ronaldo in particular) are outstanding players who will bring experience to the side and I can't wait to introduce them to the fans!

We have also signed LA Galaxy midfielder Landon Donavon, who will join us in January after his Galaxy contract expires, and we are currently holding talks with Norwegian defender Reginiussen, who we hope will also join us in January, and looking in to the possibility of bringing in Scottish midfielder Kevin Thomson on loan until Donovan joins us.

That's all for now, thanks for reading!
