Man City defence problems

i training man city , am playin with a 4-1-2-1-2 , 4-5-1 and 4-2-4 ,, am scoring a huge number of goals ,,
my problem that am conceding a lot of goals though ,,is there any problem in my tactic or it is just the players am palyin with
my main formation is ( 4-1-2-1-2 )
