Man City EPL help

Alright so heres the thing, I am new to the game and very unexperienced so i could really use some help. I've started my first season with Man. City and made a few signings. My squad is quite deep and balanced and should get me a top 8 finish. In Europe the team is untouchable and I beat every team by at least 2 goals. However the team is struggling in the premiership and I'm in the relegation zone. I'm still in November so I can still improve. Please can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong. My first choice line up is:

Gk- Hart
DL- Marcelo
DR- Richards
DC- Pablo
DC- Dunne

MR- Arshavin
ML- Zhirkov
DMC- Veloso
AMC- Elano

FC- Aguero
FC- Robinho

Kompany
Zabaleta

what you need to do is take a good look at your squad and players which is fairly balanced. then start to try new tactics and formations til you get one that works, even if you draw a match or lose if your hammering the opponent on possession, shots on goal etc... just keep trying mate.

Give it time.

3/4 of your midfield is a new signing, so will need time to gel and adapt to the Premierleague
