[h=6]hi all- some advice please :) im Manchester City on FM 2012 and im starting a 'team of the future' type thing. My theory being is that the current team are about mid-20s, if i sign 18-year-olds, in 5 years time most the current team will be
about 30, fading out and if i sign the best wonderkids know, when they're 23, we'll have 5 years of the best players in the world at the peak of their career. ...

Anyway, these are the positions im looking for:

GK: suggestions (so far)- ter Stegen, Areola, Butland, Branescu, Luis Guillherme

DC: suggestions- prestia, sakho, coates, papadopoulos, mussachio

MC: suggests- javi martinez, felipe anderson, labyad

ST: suggests- niang, erick torres, carlos fierro, vaclav kadlec

What does everyone reckon? cheers

DO NOT, DO NOT buy so many young players. By buying so many young players, you either be putting out very inexperienced teams or the youngsters won't get enough 1st team football to develop well and fulfill their potential.

Usually I will buy 2 STs and 1 MC. You don't need to buy a GK because Hart will probably be your 1st team GK longer than you will play your game! Personally I like buying Niang and Fierro, and they're my future ST pairing- Fierro as the DLF and Niang as the poacher.

Also you don't need to buy so many youngsters because there will definitely be regens that are more amazing than the players you have listed, and you will want to buy them and develop them as well.

If i was you i'd sign Sakho and Fierro, with City you dont need anyone else really, with the right tactics and training they are the best.

cheers guys, no i wasnt going to buy all of them- those were just suggestions ive had/players who looked good
