But surely you should still be sensible and intellient with your cash? But, then again, City are always known to be stupid.

Yeh when i first saw it i thought thats silly.

But look where City are atm, relegation is a possibility and they desperatly need to sort out their defence.

They dont have a DM so they are having to play Kompany there, sign De Jong now and youve got a proper DM whos good and now you can move Kompany to the defence and get rid of Dunne or Richards.

This might actually be their smartest financial move all season

They actually need a player like this, possibly even two. Signing him and even a defender as well would make sense.
