Man City sacking

Basically my brother was man city on fm 2009 handheld.
he bought villa, kaka and gareth bale. he got to the end of december and was top of the league. But for some reason, he was sacked. Any ideas why????

no he didn't everything was perfectly normal and they just sacked him. he got to the quater final of the fa cup and got knocked out by arsenaloO)
