Being a true Man Utd fan. I wanted to create the old system and style of attacking football played back in the late 90's when they where they were truly at the best and dominating the Premiership and Europe. This I have mixed with the modern deeplying playmaker role for Carrick and a poaching role to suit RVP.

You will see the wingers attack the flanks, cut in side shoot more often, score more goals

The Full back will overlap regularly and the whole teams shape defensively is solid.

I am please to say I have it built to a T :)

Please try for yourself.

Season so far:

As you can see players moral is high all round, this has been the case all season and in typical Man Utd fashion every Hick up they bounce right back!

How we controlled and smashed Man City Away:

Nice work, approaching the end of my first season with Forest so may try to implement this in my next pre season. I am a massive United fan and can see you have based this on the '99 team. I must admit my favourite united side was the '94 team with Ince and Keane in the midfield and Cantona just behind Hughes with Giggs and Kanchelskis attacking down the flanks. Had it not been for the 3 foreigner rule this side would have won the European cup

TY

Yes I have based it around the 99 team I think the style of fearless attacking football worked wonders for them that year and the results and achievements proved that. It's United at their very best. Why sit back deep when you such huge attacking potential.

Valencia is like the Beckham with all the abilities of Kanchelskis as you can see I've kept all the strength and majority of the attacking play down the right which has always been fundamental in United's success.

I hope it does well for you as it has for me:)

Interesting. Will give it a shot sometime later in the week, just because I'm a United-supporter myself.

OFF TOPIC:
In my opinion, the best football we ever played in modern times was between the years of 2006-2009, when Ronaldo and Rooney had blossomed. That was counter attacking football at its best.. :( Too bad I can't really see David Moyes taking us back to those spells anytime soon..

Oh, and btw. we didn't really dominate in Europe except from the treble year. Which is why Fergie "suddenly" stopped playing with the classic 442 in Europe, but instead went on with the boring - but very successfull - 451.

I'll try this, this the early 90's united team was awesome to watch, and i'm a Blue :)

Me being lazy I left the training to the coaches and assistant manager. The united backroom staff have an attacking mentality by default.

Created my new Man Utd save with this tactic.

Will give it a go.

At the moment - beated Wigan 4-0 in the Community Shield. So far so good.

The 2006 team was a great side no question but I think man for man with the exception of Ronaldo the 1994 team was better. Roy Keane and Paul ince in midfield together were immense. Giggs was the best left winger on the planet and Cantona controlled games with ease. The 1994 side was a physically powerful attacking team. The 2006 side was more of a controlled counter attacking side. Still a great side nonetheless.
give moyes some time. Don't be like Liverpool, west ham and spurs fans and jump all over the manager after a couple of bad results. I think what has been highlighted is that when we won the league last season we didn't have a great side but had a great manager that somehow made them winners. The squad needs improving and if he is given time he will do that. I think we will win a cup of some sorts this year
