At the start of the second season i have decided to get rid of alot of the deadwood at man u, i have managed to raise 57 million from player sales along with the 103 million the board have given me. i have signed Adler on a free, Javi Martinez for 22 million, fellaini for 16 million, van persie for 44 million. I really need a center back as i am sending jones and smalling out on loan and ferdinand and evans are injury prone. need someone who can go straight in beside vidic for around 20 million. also a decent right back, rafael is good but gets caught out of position alot. If you have any other suggestions they would be most welcome, thank you.

You should have kept Jones and Smalling, and rotated them at least; it will give them better stats in the future, and you can tutor them at the same time. Try Kyriakos Papadopolous (not 100% sure how to spell his surname), he might be young but Utd always buy him on my saves any way. If you're not too worried about age, you can always try Chiellini - alternatively, see how good Thiago Silva is.

Sending Jones out on loan was stupid, and if Rafael is getting caught out of position how about adjusting his player instructions in your tactic? or train his positioning stat?

I want jones to be playing every week to boost his stats but he wont play every week for me.

For DC, try Ryan Shawcross, Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Davide Astori, Andrea Rannocchia or Chygrinskyi (Shakhtar)
DR, Romario, Chygrinskyi (again), Santon (New Castle) or Abate (Milan)

Not to jump on the bandwagon here, but it was quite a poor decision to loan Jones out. You will have no control over how he progresses, what training schedule he's on or how many games he plays. If he stays with you, you can start him every other game..from what I've seen, he's definitely good enough to start for United by the second-third season..plus you can get Vidic to tutor him and drastically improve his stats. As for DCs - Otamendi, Papdopoulos, Bochetti, Kara, Howedes, Hummels are all good options. Also Prestia and Zouma who are young but are great in the future. As for DRs - Romario, vrsaljko and Corchia are young and top-notch.
