Im currently in my first season with manutd and its the winter transfer now.
Im top of the table currently with a good 6points gap over 2nd-placed Man City.
But really all thanks to one man - Wayne Rooney,
i'm thinking of bringing a partner for rooney, to lessen his goalscoring burden.
berbatov has been average and owen can only seem to score in cup games.

my current squad is
-------
------
-------

------

-----

--------------------Rooney-----------------------
Vargas----------Vukcevic----------Valencia
----------Fletcher----------D'Agostino-------
Evra-----Vidic--------Ferdinand------Neville

i set rooney as Advanced Forward (my top scorer with 21 goals in half a season)
with Vukcevic as an attacking midfielder (12goals in half a season so far)

juan vargas and valencia provides the width (valencia has been great, topping my assists)

fletcher is my ball winning midfielder and he does his job well

d'agostino is my deep lying playmaker with a support role
hes really good with dead ball situations and good creativity too.

my defence has been good as well, conceding only 7goals so far.

i loaned out Anderson to juventus and he won Foreign Player of the Year i think.
i loaned out welback, douglas costa, macheda and gibson to various english clubs for experience.

i got beckham on a free during the winter transfer and hes a good backup for valencia.

just wondering, should i get Edin Dzeko to help rooney out?
heard hes really good, but if i get him, i probably have to drop Vukcevic.
the fans love Vukcevic...and i feel tt hes a good goalscoring midfielder like lamps and gerrard.

k honetsly as u already kno i am a gooner fan i wulf love to see man utd plummet but not at this game. the problem with berbatov is nothing big he just needs some player interaction and more games. baically attend to him a lot. owen is on a year contract so no point in that(sry). so right now you need hot prospects. the best would be alexandre pato (40 million), sergio aguero(same). buying dzeko would mean change in style of paly as he is slow. not to mention limiting rooney to second striker.

use the stickies in my signature in future. cheers. it would be advisable if you post in the 2nd thread in future. anyway, if you're doing well with your current formation and rooney's delivering, there is no reason why you should take a risk and change to complement another striker.
