Striker Wayne Rooney is not for sale at any price, Manchester United chief executive David Gill tells BBC Sport.

So they wouldn't accept £100m? If they sold Ronaldo for £80m then surely they would accept £80m for Rooney....

Could only see him going for £150M+...

It almost sounds like they're fishing for "Oh, I'll show you a price you WILL sell him for!" - offers

I don't think we will ever sell him unless he is either past it, which will be in like 7/8 years, or if we get to the point where we physically have to, and even then it would be for an extravagant price like £50M+, but that will be in the distant future.

This is an obvious way of United trying to bulk up Rooney's price. It's like Steve Bruce said the other day, every player has their price no matter what.

unless rooney's keen to leave like c. ronaldo, i cant see him moving anytime soon

Neither Barcelona nor Madrid have any real interest in Rooney anyways.

he mite have no choice if utd money problems continue and long may they.
