I've recently started a new game with Man City, with all the new signings, Emmanuel Adebayor, Gareth Barry etc.

And I'm doing fantastically well with 10 wins in my first 15 fixtures (includes no losses)

But I am cautious that when February rolls around and my management stat updates are revealed, that I will have some unfairly judged stats.

The stats that usually go up for me are Financial control and Tactical consistency but everything else either stays at 10 or declines.

Domestic player bias is understandable as I sign few British players, but hands on approach and club/player loyalty mostly unfairly decline.

Any tips on how to improve these stats?

Or is there a tool for editing my stats? (might be cheating but I want my stats to look on par with the likes of Jose Mourinho and Roberto Mancini.)

HELP OR ADVICE WILL BE EXTREMELY WELCOME.

:)

for hands on, you gotta talk to your players, you can't simulate through the days, and you have to do most of the leg work instead of having your assistants do it.

for loyalty you can't transfer or release your current players often. I got into a habit when I first started of keeping people maybe one year and getting rid of them for better players. This made loyalty plummet. Also if you apply for other jobs loyalty will drop.

I see, I've already released some poor young players:(

Will attend all press conferences from now on. But its murder when your next fixture is like 15 days away and u can't simulate.

And by talking to player i asume you mean praise/slate their recent performances when necessary?

I never apply for any other job either, i get far too attached to my current club.

does tactical consistently naturally go up?
mine never does, even after successful league campaigns and stuff?

mmm just looked at mine there.
18 Financial control
18 Hands on Approach
15 Discipline
8 Consistency :o i wouldnt mind knowing how to get this up, i dont change my tactics dramatically

But I normally do, but don't people normally change formations and tactics depending on the opposition?

yeah for consistency, leave your tactic as is. However doing this can be dangerous since teams will eventually start using formations to counter you. Changing your formation here and there for important games won't hurt it though if you need to counter what a team is doing.

I don't at all, but I suppose it's understandable since I am managing a great side like Arsenal, especially after I made them the best team in the world. Consequently I don't have to change tactics to accomodate for more troubling opposition as they are usually not troubling at all.

Ha, ya. Much more difficult for me:P

I appreciate all your posts, but am still nervous for February LOL

Redrup, would it be possible for me to see a screen shot of your Management stats?

Sure, here you go. Unfortunately my discipline has gone down from 16 in the last season :(.

I WANT STATS LIKE YOURS IN THE FUTURE LOL!

Thats gonna be my inspiration for improving my management stats.

High five for Domestic Player Bias Hehe!

:D

Yeah... apparantly only using Walcott doesn't suffice...

Just going into my 8th season, the 2015/2016 one.

Since this was like the first ever save I had I made the error of letting Wilshere rot, his contract just run out this summer.

^ Ouch.
I know it has no relevance to this thread, but I previously did a six season football manager game with Arsenal, and I didn't receive a single bid for Fabregas. :S
