"Today we have learned that Roberto Mancini has been relieved of his duties as Manchester City Manager.
"Chairman Sheikh Mansour had this to say:
"Due to Manchester City finishing outside of the top four last season, we feel that it is time for Roberto to leave. We wish to thank him for all his service to the club, and will appoint a replacement as soon as possible
"It is Unknown who will take the reigns at the City of Manchester Stadium, but, considering the vast budgets available for use, it isn't going to be long before a wave of applications comes rushing in"

Sir Alex knows who he wants
"Sir Alex Ferguson has today announced who he wants as his "main rival" for the season.
Yeah,he said, chewing on a massive amount of gum,it's pretty obvious who should take the reins. I won't name any names, but I will say this, I expect Real Madrid to be looking for a new manager soon.
"This is obviously José Mourinho, who is unlikely to want to leave Real Madrid so soon after taking charge."

The sort of players Manchester City can attract with their wage budget, added to the charismatic figure of the manager himself, should see some big name european players, some of which would never dream of going to England to play, arriving in Manchester very soon"
"I really expect a lot of business to happen at Manchester City, and I would not be surprised if some big money transfers between the top four clubs occurs"
"You know what, I'm gonna stick this right out there: Drogba and Lampard to City. It's gonna happen, and you know it."
