Manager Ratings: Do they Matter?

Squad Discipline
Domestic Bias
Financial Control
etc
etc

Do these actually affect the game in any way. Or is it merely just an overview of what kind of manager you are.

My ratings are:

Club Player Loyalty 14
Domestic Player Bias 8
Financial Control 17
Hands On Approach 18
Squad Discipline 17
Tactical Consistency 13

Should my aim be to have 20 in each column?
 
Often wondered this myself...

Always get low player loyalty stats... :(
 
Wouldnt mind seeing more relevant stats as in attacking play, defensive coaching, working with youngsters etc.

I tend to have a pretty set way of playing (basically from what I undertstand of FM09); I have a solid defense and a good midfield with my strikers doing ok-ish. I never have prolific goalscorers and most of my goals come from midfield and set pieces. My stats should in some way reflect this.

I dont see value in what they tell you already.
 
The manager ratings 'seem' to have no significance. I play the same tactic nearly every game and ive got 3 for tactical consistancy lol.
 
I would like it if they gave stats for attacking play etc, and this became a factor in players coming to you... a flamboyant striker prefering teams that base their game upon attacking...
 
I always get a **** ratings on Domestic Player Bias, Hands on Approach, but Financial Control is so easy.
 
I dont think they do matter , i think its all based on what youve done as in what youve won etc. And at the start of the game its based on ur past experience what ever you select that as.

Good idea. Would add a different dimension to the signing of players.

my financial control is 20 - but then i do have 865mil in the bank (over 3 seasons) and a currect transfer budget of 615mil !!! (sold my entire Chelsea squad and bought quality prospects nice n cheap)

Domestic player loyalty is 4 though... (A)

will try and do some screenshots later but i only have the web on work pc... will email them to myself!

as for transfers - umm, well, in 3 seasons ive signed about 145 players and sold about the same amount!
 
u can win the league evry year for 10 years and still have a bad rating so i think it doesnt matter
