I'm an American manager managing League 1 side Mansfield, my world is England, Ireland, Scotland, N. Ireland, Wales, and USA. I get e-mails constantly that such-and-such club in the MLS doesn't want to offer their current manager a new deal, and that I'm the favored candidate.

I've never actually been offered a job, though. Do you have to declare interest in the job, thereby ruining your reputation with your current club, or do I just need to perform a little better to get actual job offers.

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

you dont have to declare intrest but sometimes it helps

Iv usually found that by resigning from ur club improves ur chances of gettin a job at another club, well that happend 2 me when i was at hearts n i kept getting them e-mails saying readin wanted me 2 replace coppell n that, so i finally resigned n then they offered me the job straight away. May just be a one off tho

I've never resigned before getting another job, usually declaring to the media does the trick and on the Team squad page, clicking declare interest in job.

i have been offerd jobs b4 like when i was doing my plymouth game i got offerd the fullham job i took the job but their squad was poor and that ended my game lol
