Managing a league team and a National Team

I currently manage a premier league team, and i would like to manage the England national team as well, I have read that you can do this by accepting a job offered to you, but is there any other way that you can do it without being offered the job?

Create a new user, take over managing the national team of choice, retire this user then apply for the vacant slot with your initial manager. That's how I do it. If that doesn't work try the opposite by taking over with the country, retiring the club manager and applying for the job.

No, you can make the job available but unless you have FMRTE you can't in the game with someone already in it.

You can of course add other managers but you will then have to play as two personaes.
