Managing England

Im thinking of having a go at managing England but wasnt sure what leagues to select to scout players from, just English leagues?? I havent really done any national team management so i dont know too much a bout it.
Also does it get boring not having matches every week?? what do you do in the time between games??

The only thing I can really suggest is try to get a club job as soon as possible because it does get slightly boring after a while.
