A few years ago I had success managing Sao Paulo (wen adriano was on loan) however since then I've not followed the Brazilian domestic game. Since the finding of Ganso n Neymar I'm lookin to get into a same in Brazil. Could any1 help me with the better teams to b, players to look out for and continental qualified teams. Cheers!

Santos is an obvious choice, but the best players may leave for Europe soon, my save game has Brazil on and Palmeiras, Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Flamengo and Internacional are best choices if you want to dominate.

Because the transfer thing is bugged, Neymar and Ganso are possible to stay at Santos till they retire. It's really stupid.

I've seen Ganso staying and the club refusing a Eur35m bid and asking for amazing Eur66m!!
But Neymar usually goes to Barça...

Per my "Fallen Giants" post, I holiday'd the first 7 years of my latest game. Neymar moved to Barca for around £40 million in 2014, but in 2017 Ganso was still at Santos, and had a value of £25 million. I managed to get Ganso, but it cost me £50 million to do so. I would suggest going Santos.

I'm currently doing a santos save, it's fun to try out the brazilian league after being bored with europe. I'd definately recommend santos as they're actually predicted to finish 10th (though realistically you'd finish much higher). I won the league in my first season, and although I also "won" the sao paulo state, I lost in the playoff that decides the trophy. Even though the brazilian league isn't of the standard of top european ones, it's really competitive and atleast 5 teams could win the league each season.

It's a long hard season though, with 2 leagues to play, the brazilian cup, and a continental one. At one point I had 4 games in 7 days! It's also pretty tough financially at first, losing money every month since attendances are low. In my second season I only got a transfer budget of 500k again, so you have to sell to buy - or rely on your youth system which pumps out stars constantly.

There is definately a lot of deadwood in the reserves that can give you a nice transfer budget. I bought manoel, rafael toloi, romario (the 16 y/o RB), Josue amongst others from funds raised, and only have 2 players currently over 25 years old.

that reflects real life here, too many matches, hard to keep a fit squad and you won't grow without selling best players...

just about to start a save with Santos :D Ill post back here to let you know how i get on, never managed in brazil before so should be a challenge :)

I am also managing in Brazil, it is really very interesting league with these state championships, normal league and also the Brazilian cup. I am managing my favourite club next to Liverpool, Sao Paulo. It is really balanced team, even better than Santos. So far I am 13 games into my state champ, and I havent lost a point. There is a lot of good players in Brazilian Serie A and also in Serie B. And Lucas is the beast:)

I also had the opportunity of managing Sao Paulo, they are a good all-around club, and Lucas is a great young talent, but I have to say if you manage (almost impossible) to lose 3 to 4 games in a row, that almost guarantees you will lose your job.
