i was just wondering what was the longest time you had been at one club for? how many seasons? mine isnt very long :(

I tend to just stay with the team i started with.

eg - i started with nottm forest and man utd came in for me i will 100% turn it down without even thinking about it.

what about you?

the longest i have been at a club is two seasons before i start a new game because i get bored

lol the longest ive been at a club was like 2018 on football manager 2008, so about 10 years

but on fm 09 my longest is arsenal in my 8th season.

on fm2007 i was tottenham manager for 38 years

Surely it gets more boring starting again and signing the same players, facing the same teams etc.

Longest ive went is 2030ish with AFC Wimbledon on 08

i know but im only finding this problem on fm 09 on fm 08 i was quite content being aston villa and sticking with them

FM 08 - 7 season with Red Star belgrade, 3 season Ajax.. 3 season A.C. Milan.. than started FM 09 :D

On 07 i was at Wycombe for 9 seasons before leaving for West Ham for 6 seasons before leaving for FM 08. So 15 season at 2 seperate teams. On 08 my longest was Liverpool for 12 seasons. On 09 my longest was Prescot Cables. I edited them into the BSN, I was there for 4 seasons but unfortunately it got deleted due to a XML Parsing error! I've now got a game with Man City and one with Darlington.

Longest i've been with a single club was Orient for 18years on 05 then i ruined it by accepting the United job :'( I have never forgiven myself!

Fm 08 i was 6 seasons in with Lyon but then the game crashed :( am guessing it was because the computer was poor lol.

I can never resist the temptation of one of the big European clubs, even if I'm doing really well at another club..but usually when i do leave the smaller clubs I always regret it

i start as reading fc all the time i start as them i get them promoted then i finish prem around 10-12th position then i leave to go to a different team
