A player-buying spree after being taken over by Sheikh Mansour sees Manchester City lose £92.6m in 2008/09.

Good to see some bad financial news for someone else for once :$

When he is worth £560 billion, what 100mill to him?

Good point actually. He could probably earn £100m in a month :S

Its just pocket money to the guy that he is throwing away.

He probably pays his butler £100mill a year..

while average attendances rose slightly, to 42,890 from 42,081 the year before.

Over 100M spent in the transfer market.. And you get 809 more fans.

yh but they have also incresed ticket prices, so it is better then tht stat shows

It doesn't matter anyway, the owner makes **** loads of cash every day, I don't think he'll care what the ticket sales are if they are sufficient enough.

You need to spend money to make money i guess.

Drop in the Ocean.Sheikh Mansour probably gives his kids more than this in weekly allowance.

rejected by Veron lololololol that and this story has made my day :)
