Manchester City - Simply not furfilling their potential!

Ok so basicaally i have started a game with Man city and they are just not playing as well as i feel they should considering the players they have. Here are a list of the players i have:

GK - Given, Taylor
Defenders - Srna, Richards, Onouah, Toure, Lescott, Bridge
Mids - Barry, DeJong, Ireland, Ashley Young, SWP, M Johnson, Robinho
SC - Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Dzeko,Tevez, Bellamy

Its my first season 2 months in and i'm only 6th. I've tried so many tactics but none are helping.
Has anyone got any suggestions ????
 
Give the tactics time. That squad needs time to gel as well. If you keep on trying with the same tactics your team will settle and you will start winning more.
 
I Agree. In the posetd squad, you have 14 new players and they will need time to gell/settle etc.

keep it simple, pick one tactic, preferably a 4-4-2 (very stable formation), and give it time. as TheBetterHalf said you have 14 new players, your players will effective play like they dont know each other so 6th is good. like City in real life your first task is to blend a group of individuals into a real team, it'll probably take the best part of a season.
 
2 months is not alot of games as many people before me have said . ' stick at it ' keep going they will grow as a team and begin to gel. Don't expect instant results.
 
As the guys say, stick at it. But is it me or are there only 3 new players? :P :S
 
But at the start Man City have signed Tevez, Adebayor etc...
 
Its a common mistake people make,. "Pre-signings" also needs time to settle
 
i have the same problem with man city in my 2nd season i have only just taken over them as i was the rotherham manager and got them promoted however they seem to lack consistency one minute im stuffing bolton 4-0 the next im drawing with west ham who was 2nd bottom and tbh i was lucky to get a draw
 
I just finish my first year with cityzens and i won a premier league, i beat arsenal 6-0 and man united 6-1, man city is amazing team....I did only 3 transfers in this seasson - srna, modric and eduardo....they play very well for me
