I know people have posted suggestions what players to sign for united on other threads but i'm looking for different/less known players for suggestions.

Don't mind how old or position just need to be good enough(or decent potential)

Got 22 mill to spend.

Also signed Vales on a free as back up to Dea Gea and possibly tutor the younger keepers.

Narrowed it down to..
A left back (Shaw costs to much)
Centre back(s) As vidic has left and released ferdinand as don't rate him at all - looking at balanta but they want to much!
Winger(s) (IF)
Back up striker to Van Persie/Rooney/Hernandez

Alex Sandro. Ben Davies. - LB

CB - Mangala. Doria. Balanta. Varane. Marquinhos. Take your pick, all of them seem to be available for me for reasonable amounts.

ST - Gabriel Barbosa/Kevin Volland. Former being a poacher/Ad Forward and the latter a F9/Trequarista.

Is it worth selling Van Persie Rooney Evra Rafael? As the first few are now beginning to get old and will retire soon so sell and get money while i can?

I'd say so, yes.

I sold Rafael for ?40 million to PSG at the end of the first season. I love the guy but that was too much to turn down, I replaced him with Peruzzi who cost ?17.5m and has been just as good if not better.

I've kept Rooney for now, but if someone shows an interest and makes a good offer I'd probably sell because he hasn't been that consistent.

I've just sold Robin (even though he was my top scorer in the second season) to Bayern for ?25m. With his contract needing a renewal I just thought instead of making him my highest earner I'd get some money for him and give Wilson, Henriquez, etc. more game time.

Evra has asked to leave because he wants a new challenge, but I haven't been able to shift him yet even on a free. If someone shows interest, take it, there's a lot of good left-backs on the game to replace him. I've got Ricardo Rodriguez.

Fierro has done just as well if not better than RVP for me and is much cheaper. I also have used Rooney as a CM where he has done well.

I'm in my second season with Man Utd. (14.3 patch)
In the first year I bought:
- Luke Shaw ~ 28M
- Eder Alvarez Balanta ~ 7.25M
- Zivkovic ~ 725k
- Sulley Muntari ~ 3.4M

Also sold:
- Hernandez ~ 20M
- Cleverly ~ 13M
- Buttner ~ 6.5M
- Ashley Young ~ Free
- Antonio Valencia ~ Free

Got rid of my wingers because I play 4-2-3-1 (3 AMC). I still use Nani every now and then because no one buys him lol.

Then in my second season I bought:
- Peruzzi ~ 18.5M
- Kondogbia ~ 22M
- A few regens from around the place

I also sold:
- Rafael ~ 40M
- Anderson ~ 1.7M
- Ben Amos ~ 1.8M
- Demetri Mitchell ~ 4.6M

I kept Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney because they are just too good! In the first season RVP got 30 goals and 28 assists with a 7.55 average match rating in 47 appearances. Meanwhile, Rooney got 20 goals and 8 assists with a 7.33 average match rating in 38 appearances. And Rooney is playing as an AMC with the Shadow Striker role.

I feel that you must start playing Januzaj a lot more frequently in the second season. Looks like he'll turn into an amazing player!

I've also kept Evra and rotate him with Luke Shaw. You should be fine using Ricardo Rodriguez ;D

EDIT: Just thought I'll add that I just finished my second season transfer window and have 27M transfer budget and 475k p/w wage budget remaining still, so I'm not too worried about RVP and Rooney's contract. I'll be expecting players to be asking for improved contracts during the rest of this second season. Only Mata asked for an improved contract after the first season.
