Alright, I was once a member of this forum but I can't recall my username or email address. So I've started anew and I'll share my progress on a challenge I started a couple of weeks ago.

My aim is to re-kindle the ethos of Manchester United. I look to Sir Alex and Sir Matt for inspiration and my goal is to emulate those great managers by creating a Manchester United side that is capable of winning the Champions League with a side predominantly based upon our youth players. First couple of seasons I will be making external 'first team' signings so I am able to maintain a presence in the top 4. But after a few years I aim to be using 6/7/8+ home grown products on a regular basis. I will allow myself to scout players. I'll say up to 18, but I'll really be looking to 17 year old at the most.

I've been making videos with them, but I'll update this thread with the video and with written updates. Thanks for reading!

Quite enjoyed that watch. You're a very personable guy and come over well on these. Allied to it being interesting having seen you previously in your more 'normal' youtube guise. (The joys of linked fan channels. *Smiles.).

Just hope the result tomorrow doesn't mirror that and is more a one goal or more swing in L'pool's favour. :p.

Thanks mate, yeah, I've been a long time FM player - since the CM days on my old Amiga - so when I created my 'spin off' channel, it was pretty obvious that I needed to be making a Football Manager strand.

I dunno if either set of fans would be happy with a 2-2 - we both probably see the other side as that bad we should be looking to win!
 
I recorded part 3 last night, but it's all kinds of messed up, so will have to re-record it today/tonight.

This is hands down the craziest run in I've ever seen in a game of Football Manager, 5 (FIVE!) teams are in the running, right up until the moment to win the league. I'm in the running for 3 competitions, can I come away with the gold? Or will I be empty handed and finish outside the top 4! Get in here and check it out!

Here's another Football Manager career mode update, new season, new signings and we are looking goooooooooood! Patchy form in the Champions League has not affected the Premier League form and we are absolutely smashing it! Can we taste silverware this time around after going close last time?
