Personal Comment: Sir Alex Ferguson is by far one of the greatest Managers Manchester United has ever seen. Though it will be difficult to emulate his success he has left me with a team of quality players and It will be a good place to build from. With Berbatov, Owen, Rooney* and Diouf as attacking options and Welbeck and Macheda coming through the youth I don't think that will be too big a problem.

I'll be attempting to see if I can match Alex Ferguson's standards with my lack of experience in the EPL. I will take control of manchester united in the 2009/2010 database with a bit of tweaks to slightly underrated players and take it from there. Feel free to wish me luck and make suggestions for signings...

Analysis: Goalkeepers
I'm fairly strong in this department, however I need to find a long term replacement for Van Der Sar since he's probably retiring after this season. Asenjo and Lloris are good options I think...

sell diouf he's not that good, well not united standard's init

Just Saw 25yr old Nigerian Enyeama, looks really good in terms of value for money. Looks like a bargain and I think he's same age as foster but Foster is slightly better and younger

Bids are Flying in for Nani and Anderson but I keep trying to say that they are not for sale. I really don't want to lose these two...

Well Yeah but, This is my first time playing FM2009 and I support Man Utd So I wanted to start with them. later on with more experience I'll do some LLMs but for now I've got to familiarize myself

First Match, Pre-Season Friendly against a very determined Sheff Utd. Our performance itself was quite poor and I'll adress that in tactics but Goals from Rooney, Anderson and Vidic gave us a comfortable win.

Oh gosh so dead... Well I'll concentrate on my Ghana one for now but I'll come back to this later :)

You sold Evra!? Are you mad lol

Lolz I'm starting to have second thoughts on that transfer... Then again I've got Bale and Drenthe on the shortlist and likely to sign Srna soon :p

evra is one of the best left backs in the world and you sold him

bad idea selling evra baombs up the wings for me all the time and gets stuck in plus the fact as stated one of the best left backs in the world bad idea mate

Oh dear... the thing is, he never performs for my team even with his brilliant rep and stats and I found that 20 million in my pocket would be nice, but I guess I'm going to have to buy a direct replacement for him... any suggestions?
