New Manager Announced

124.jpg

It was today announced that former Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has been brought in to replace another legend, in departing manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Not suprisingly, this will be an almost impossible mission to recreate the success of Mr Ferguson.

But with the right signings, who knows? Peter will obvisouly need a great backroom team behind him, and this is what he has done. He has already brought in Gary Neville, Jaap Stam and Ole Gunner Solskjaer, and will look to improve this further. He also called a press conference, and took an interview.

The Interview with the new Manager.

OH: You sit here as new manager of Manchester United. You are seen as a shock appointment.

PS: I might be a shock appointment, but I have an undying love for this club. I have moved to appoint men who love the club and have the hunger to see it succeed.

OH: Will Sir Alex Ferguson have much say on your team affairs?

PS: Alex is a great friend of mine; I will tap into his experience for advice. However the Final decision will be mine on team matters.

OH: Have you got any targets in mind.

PS: I look at the Squad and think; I don’t need a lot of players. I think I will look into one or two. It is a great shame Kasper has only Just signed for Notts County.

OH: being a goal keeper, how will you approach the game, tactically?

PS: I will look to be successful by winning football matches.

OH: In recent Years Manchester United have had a tradition of bring youth players up through the ranks. What is your philosophy on this?

PS: I look at the squad and players like Welbeck, Macheda and Gibson are the future of this club, I will look to give them games this year.

Signings

Peter Schmeichel has only been able to sign one player, 18 years old English teenager Jack Rodwell. Schmeichel has said to be over whelmed with this signing. “Jack is a quality player; he will add competition to the squad. He is comfortable in Centre back, defensive midfield and Central midfield. He is a future Captain of club and country.” Rodwell Cost 13.5million.

Schmeichel however was rejected by young Defender Vegard Forren. He choose first team football at Everton.

Schmeichel has also sold Wes Brown for 7million to German Giants Bayern Munich.

Pre-season

Lots of positives to take from Pre-season. One loss to West Brom, but nothing to be concerned about.

Why are your transfers saying that you're in League 2?
Also, you apparently haven't signed Rodwell either XD
