Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that the club will have to make a decision on Owen Hargreaves, after revealing he may not play again this season because of a shoulder injury. He has made only 39 appearances for the club since joinging, and has had a nightmare with injuries.

With his contract up in the summer, I have a feeling he won't be appearing again in a Man Utd shirt. I really like the lad, and showed so much promise, especially when playing for England. He showed real drive, committment, passion and worked his socks off.
I'm hoping this isn't the end of Hargreave's career. He may be terribly unlucky with regards to injuries, but maybe in the summer, if he worked with specialists and worked on the problems, he may still be able to forge a career at another club. It would be a shame to waste the obvious talent he has, as I feel he still has a lot to offer, maybe at a club that isn't top flight.

Hargreaves still has it, but I just hope we offer him a Pay as you play contract as that will work best and his knee injuries are starting to clear up its just really his shoulder he needs to deal with now.

If he wasn't offered that sort of contract, I'd love to see him play at Goodison. Probably unlikely, but you never know-never thought Neville would be at Goodison then he came along lol.

Hope it's not the end, but can't see him staying with the wage he's on/would demand.

Hoping that we offer him a pay as you play deal because he is excellent at what he does, I just don't see it happening.

Maybe he would consider a wage cut because of all the injuries perhaps? Doesn't strike me as the sort of player who'd make excessive wage demands

If Hargreaves leaves in the summer he will be the most expensive United player going by Net Transfer and how many starts, is around 653000.
Put it into context, Veron was around 150000.
