Manchester Utd and Arsenal in the SPL​

I want feedback on this, however I am creating anyway.

Are you bored of the SPL being a two horse race? well its a top one place for the champs leauge out of four as I am swapping two teams who have the lowest reputation for Manchester United and Arsenal while they have no transfer budget ? and maybe a spending cap?

Feedback welcome, if you dont think its a good idea say WHY! but no this is *****!

You asked for feedback so...

Sounds like a terrible idea to be honest. It will still be a two horse race. Manchester and Arsenal are leagues better than Rangers or Celtic. It'll just mean Utd and Arsenal are top 2, Rangers and Celtic are 3rd and 4th and slowly getting worse, and the other teams just get thumped every game. Would be far more productive putting the Old Firm into an English league.
 
No Arsenal,Celtic,Manchesterf United and Rangers.
 
Tbh putting Man Utd and Arsenal in SPL wouldnt stop it being a two horse race....You're simply swapping the two horses for different horses....if you get my drift ;)

Besides, their squads are still way better than those of the Old Firm.

exactly,man u and arsenal would whoop celtic and rangers so will be a 2 horse race with the 2 english teams :P

but at least we would win it
 
Try maybe Everton and Aston Villa......or some other mid-table teams ??
Just a thought ;)
 
Why not improve finances/facilities/reputations of the other SPL teams so they could challenge the old firm

Seriously, Man Utd and Arsenal would rape the SPL. If you want to even it out, I'd give more money and fame to the other clubs. If you want EPL clubs, pick the mid to lower range clubs.

i mean the normal SPL teams, improve reputations of Hearts, Hibs Aberdeen etc, give them a bit of money to buy the quality they will need to improve enough to challenge. Just even it all up a bit.

Or you could just remove all first team players from the old firm teams so the have to buy new teams - gives the rest of SPL a real chance
 
What do people think of this, Blackpool and West Brom in the spl?
 
I see that you want to move United to a different league just so they have a chance of winning it ;)
 
man utd and arsenal would work because although they will be leaders for a while... the standerd of competition in scotland will improve and so will the league rep meaning its more diverse and celtic and rangers arent massively behind (rep wise) though maybe liverpool and man utd?
 
I agree with the last post. Remove all first team/reserve players from Man Utd, Arsenal, Celtic and Rangers, and it will give a fighting chance to the likes of Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd.

Other than that, I disagree with putting Man Utd and Arsenal into the SPL.

Try maybe Birmingham, Fulham, West Ham, etc and it could work. Or a full restructuring of all the UK and Irish leagues to have them all combined. A top 20 league with Celtic, Rangers, Man Utd, Chelsea, Bohemians, TNS and Linfield (and progressing downwards, ending up with similar numbers per nation in that league).

Even then, try taking away everything from all clubs and having them all start from scratch with small stadiums, and it would even itself out that way too :P
