Today 36 year old Marco matterazi has announced his retirement from Football. View attachment 94815

The hard man of football has had a glittering career with Italian giants Internazionale. The big Italian centre back has a catalogue of honours :
Major: Serie A: 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Coppa Italia: 2005, 2006, 2010 Supercoppa Italiana: 2005, 2006, 2008 Champions league: 2010 aswell as winning the World cup in 2006 with Italy. He also holds the record for most goals scored by a defender in Serie A history with 12 goals. Materazzi also known as Matrix for his unpredictable behaviour. The Italian defender has had a long career in both Italy and England, playing for Perugia, Everton and most notably Inter fc, which sparks rumours on where his next step in football will take him, with many expecting him to step into management the question is where and when? With Inter FC having just hired Jose Mourinho it seems unlikely a return to the San Siro. There have been rumours about a return to everton but with Moyes doing a brilliant job down there it seems that it is just rumours. So dear readers we leave you with just one question, Where Will the Italian Madman end up?

More soon from Four Four Two

Lets have a quick look at parma here :
Brief history :
Although Parma have never won a domestic league title and never competed for the major trophies until the 1990s, they have won threeItalian Cups, one Supercoppa Italiana, as well as two UEFA Cups, one European Super Cup and one UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. The club won all eight of these trophies between 1992 and 2002, a period in which it is also achieved its best ever league finish as runners-up in the 1996–97 season and threatened the dominance of the league's established powers[3] – Juventus, A.C. Milan and Internazionale, who are now the only Italian sides who have had more success in Europe than Parma.

Squad overview : Main Men
Undoubtly anyone who looks at the Italian team will notice that the strongest part of there team is the forward line.

In Hernan Crespo they have a very experienced striker who has a keen eye for goal, but is growing in years.

Alberto Paloschi the young striker has pace in abundance aswell as a keen eye for goal, working alongside Crespo will be a massive help for the young man in furthering his career.
