Hi guys this is my first thread so please excuse me if I do anything wrong or such and kindly explain me the problem instead of ripping into me.....Thanks

Ok so I decided to do a story on one of my favourite wonderkids Marco Verratti.I wont be saying much here but I promise I wont be just 'Dear Diary' this and 'Dear Diary' that and I will be doing loads of other stuff too.

Sky Italia

On our segment on promising footballing stars in Italy today we concentrate on Marco Verratti a young 16 year-old who has caught the imagination of clubs such as AC Milan and Fiorentina alike. Many scouts are tipping him to be a future star for Italy and don the famed blue shirt of the Azzurri.Marcelo Lippi the Italian Coach says after seeing the young star in action that he has only 'good things to say about Marco'.For now Marco is at his boyhood club Pescara where he has already made several high-key substitute appearances for the first team.

Marco has always mantained that his heroes include Brazilian magician Kaka and English stalwart Frank Lampard.Although the likes of At Madrid and Arsenal have also shown an interest in him he says that for now he could not bear the thought of leaving Italy and going abroad.'My mama will not allow me' he says before laughing.Whether he stays here in Italy or goes abroad the future is certainly looking very bright for the youngster

Get a better and nicer font: that's one way to make a story much, much better and easier to read. Add pictures too, and a bit more colour.

Prologue

I have heard the stories and I have read the newspapers. Some say that I am going to go to AC Milan or Juventus while others say that I am going to go to Real Madrid and get a 200,000 a week contract which seems very distant for now atleast. For now its all Pescara. We were playing the Kaiser Cheifs in a friendly today which is team from South Africa.Honestly the first time I actually found out properly about the country other than from my geography class was when they were selected to host the World Cup.

Anyways to the match,I actually got to start and I had a fair game before being taken off. Before kick-off,I looked around and saw an old grandmother plus a few father who brought their sons just so that they could waste away their Sunday morning.Including the coaches and substitute players the total supporters count was 30.'Not quite Old Trafford yet eh Marco' as the game began I thought

Marco Verratti side-steps Yaya Toure and nutmegs Puyol. He has done it all-drawing the centre-back out of his position. Now all that remains is the goal. All that is needed is a simple right-footed shot into the goal past the keeper. It had text-book goal written all over it!Half the stadium watched on with bated breaths while the other half were rising from their seats with looks of joy already planted on their faces..............

'Marco Wake-Up!'

My earth came crashing down and I woke with a start.Where was Nou Camp and the 70,000 fanatical supporters.Where was Messi and Xavi. Then I realised I was home. After that perfect dream........

'Thanks alot Mama' I whispered to myself

Chapter 1:Ronaldinho

I ran home after school laden with a heavy bag.Sure I was a soccer player already being tipped to make the Italy U-21 squad but school was just as important or it was according to my mama.

I was greeted by Ronaldinho as soon as I reached home with his signature three barks and a lick.Ronaldinho was a cute little Maltese Terrier who I had named after the Brazilian Magician after seeing his famous tricks and wizadry while he was at Barcelona. After a quich shower I settled into my hammock with Ronaldinho snuggled up next to me.My hammock was just about my favourite place in the world as I could lay in it and day-dream as long as I would like about me being a famous soccer superstar.

Its the World-Cup final.Italy need to score from this penalty to create History and win consecutive World-Cups a feat unheard off.And who better to take this Penalty than Italy's youngest and newest sensation Marco Verratti.

Look how cool and relaxed he looks even though Marco Verratti knows that a entire nation's hopes rest on his young shoulders. He takes a deep breath and begins his run-up and he SCORES.

MARCO VERRATTI HAS WON IT FOR ITALY

I smiled to myself and snuggled up next to Ronaldinho

Game
Pescara vs Home Utd.

I watched in frustration from the bench as my team-mates failed to create any chances and even conceded a goal through a defensive lapse. At half-time the coach simply told me 'Marco do it again'.

I stood on the touchline waiting to be brought on.I ran onto the pitch while kissing the necklace around my neck which had been given to my father by Soccer great Alcides Ghiggia. Finally after 25min we managed to get a great dead-ball opportunity. With our regular free-kick taker nursing a slight thigh strain I had no intention of letting anybody else near the ball.

I looked up at the goal saw the top-corner and Imanaged to curve the ball just into the net.I set-off on a mazy run with my fist raised Shearer-like imagining the roar of 90,000 people in Wembley

Chapter 2:Rumous and.......

'Goooooooooooaal!'.My handphone rang with the voice of some famous commentator I had forgotten long ago.It was my agent Marco Munez. He was actually owned a garage but having been a proffessional footballer himslef,he knew his job.

'Marco I have arranged a meeting with the Chairman its urgent come quickly' was all he said in his thin rasping voice

I went to the stadium where the Chairman had his office and seated myself in a comfortable and compact office

'Marco I will not talk in circles Inter Milan want you' the Chairman said as soon as I sat down.I glanced at my agent and he said 'Its true I have been on the phone for hours'.

A wave of emotions flew through me.Was it possible moving to Inter Milan one of the greatest clubs in the world and playing on the lush green of San Siro the greatest Stadium in all of Italy. Was it time to forgo Pescara and play on the world stage infront of millions of people under the guidance of Jose Mourinho the 'Special One'.Was it time to pursue my dream.

It was time

Exclusive:Teenage senastion Marco Verratti has reportedly agreed a 900k move to San-Siro based club Inter Milan.Marco who was featured in our 'promising young footballers in Italy' segment has also accepted a Contract which will bring him 100euros-a-week.Marco Verratti who has been linked with a move away from Pescara for quite some time is delighted to be able to play for such a huge club and has no regrets in leaving his boyhood club Pescara.

With many pundits already tipping him to make the Italy U-21 squad this move will definetly boost Marco Verratti's chances and have a positive impact on his career.Rumours are abound that Jose Mourinho is a great admirer of Marco Verratti's talents and thus was delighted to bring him to the club

Chapter 3:Inter Milan and the 'Special One'

I looked up at the imposing San Siro stadium which was shared by the great city rivals Inter Milan and AC Milan.I was scheduled to arrive here to finalize the deal with the cahirman Massimo Moratti and as me and Marco Munez my agent walked I was suddenly entranced by the San Siro pitch where many greats of the game such as Paolo Maldini had one played and today a true superstar Ronaldinho still played.

'One day eh Marco'
My agent Munez said in my ear after he saw me looking at the pitch

We arrived at the Chairman's office which boasted of wealth from very corner from the glass-topped table to the latest Mac Computer on his desk. Not soon after we exchanged greetings I heard the noise of a door opening and shutting and I turned around face-to-face with Jose Mourinho.

As negiotiations proceeded Jose Mourinho took me to a corner and said..........

'How are you feeling'

'Great,I have been given the chance to play for such a big club'
I replied

'Marco, here at Inter Milan we do not want total dedication and total commitment,we demand it,the owner demands it,the coaches demand it,the fans demand it and most importantly I demand it,Do you think you are ready'

'Yes'
I replied simply

'Very Good'
and with a nod of the head Jose Mourinho walked away

Strange man I thought.
