Mario Balotelli - A Worthy Signing?

So I'm in my second season managing Arsenal with a very young and extremely talented squad containing the likes of Akinfeev, Kjaer, Hummels, Fellaini, Mata, Hazard just to name a few.

I just recieved news that Balotelli is unhappy and unsettled in Man City and I managed to snap him up for a bargain of £9m in monthly installments.

I've heard bad reviews about his attitude, workrate, disrupting harmony etc But this was too good to turn down especially since my strikers are injury prone.

What do you think? Good/bad business?
 
Stay away...

There are plenty of good young strikers out there. While not every one of them will be as naturally talented as Balotelli, they probably won't give you headaches. Take a look at one of Raikan's lists for some ideas.

Sure? He's arriving in the next transfer window in a months time :(
 
Personally..... if you play him right hes amazing, although he does distrubt the squad, a win/lose situation
 
I wouldn't go for it. You have players like Yaya Sanogo, Khouma Babacar, Lukaku and some more that also have lots of potential, probably even more than Mario.
 
His attitude is just terrible. If you don't mind someone who disrupts the squad harmony, then go for him, otherwise run fast, run far away from him. :)

Got him for 8mil have him for 2 seasons now never been a problem and he has scored some huge goals in his time with me,currently in 5th season.
 
Wouldn't even bother with the risk.

As mentioned there's plenty other strikers that are at the same level of ability and potential, if not better than Balotelli, and I think you'll find they won't chomp your wage bill either..
 
I bought Balotelli for my Liverpool team 2 seasons ago and he has only ever picked up 1 red card which he was unhappy about because I fined him 1 weeks wages, I managed to get him happy again when he wanted to talk about it. Besides that he has been awesome.
 
would have gone for kadlec meself, he's always really consistent for me
 
Get Kadlec and also Olic to tutor him. THAT is a win win situation :)

But if you like a badboy, go for Mario. He does have a presence, ooooh.
 
Should've went for Kadlec. Balotelli is a **** in the game just like IRL. When Mourinho gives up on a player, you know he's going to be a failure. <)
 
go for him absolute bargain.. IRL i beilieve if he changed his attitude 25mil would look a good price for him as i think he can be outstanding and on fm he v.similar..
 
He's a quality player but at the same time he's a physco he was unhappy at my club because i asked he to stop trying to lob the keeper
 
Just go with what you want, When i was Arsenal i had him and Rossi up top and they combined perfect, Go for it :)
 
Never had any problems with him. He was complaining, about the team underachieveing, but i managed to get him happy again when we landed the EPL title. He's amazing on my game, he's scored some amazing goals. Definetly a keeper.
