the timing is so odd, think redknapp will get this job, I think that the announcements he has made in the press about the ukraine job yesterday could have sped this up expected it after the united game at the weekend.

No offence to QPR but Harry should not take it, it will ruin his rep as a good manager.. I do not think QPR are going to stay up this season.. something is wrong with the squad and I do not feel that it was Mark Hughes...

Such a shame, I was enjoying laughing at that club and it's awful manager.

I think he will take it, he wants to get back in to football he was on SSN yesterday saying as much. there is alot wrong with QPR's squad there is alot of aging pro's who aren't that great anymore and you wonder if they have the stomach for a relegation scrap (zamora, johnson, green, etc) I think they lack leadership especially joey barton people may not like him and to an extent he is a moronic thug but he has talent and he was their captain I don't think he was replaced adequately

Hardly Surprising, lots of reports Harry is already been appointed.. announced monday

brought in alot of 'names' .. either gone past their peak or coming towards it, and then combine that with the amount of new players gelling together, its not a good recipe.

yeah i expect as much then he gets to dodge the united game too makes sense. do you think he can turn it round. I love harry but its a massive job you know he will bring in a few in january

personally think they'll stay up with Harry, will be very close though

That is the most obvious reason, but and his tactics was a kind of ****, too. He didn't change a bit from last season, when they almost relegated. Two more things was made a impression to me: 1. He brings a very good GK and in front of him are.. Nelsen (35?!), A. Ferdinand and A.Traore (both proven useless in EPL) - they started a most, don't know if there was an injury crysis or something. 2. His choise for captain. Park is not a bad player, but yet he is far from influential figure that a squad with a lot of new signings needed. Not to mention that he comes from totally different culture, habits and etc. Someone like B.Zamora should be captain IMO.Anyway, i hope that the new manager saves QPR, afterall it is nice to watch players like Cesar and Granero in EPL>arghh, for some reason "new line" doesn't work ^^

Harry would be best suited to pick us back up. The squad is there and he, like Warnock, get these type of teams back up into competitiveness pretty consistently.

Biggest difference this time around for HR would be that the moneybags is there rather than chewing another club up and spitting it out a financial wreck, a-la Pompey, S'hampton and to a degree Spurs (could well have dodged a bullet there with the national job kerfuffle).

Why all the explanation marks lol, wasn't really a shock. It may have come at a strange time i.e one day before they play but i assume they were worried Redknapp would take the Ukraine job and they would lose him.
