A pass that leads to a goal-scoring opportunity.

Well I had 9 key passes, 1 clear cut chance and 6 half-chances so I am not sure if those are the only things that are included or even if those things are what key passes are.

Key passes are passes which break the line, this can cause a goal-scoring opportunity but it often doesn't for instance if a playmaker dribbles through the centre and then plays a ball between the opposition centre back and full back to his winger, this is a key pass. It doesn't matter what the winger then does, so he could fluff the cross and so there would be no CCC but a key pass. Does that make sense

Overall 9 Key passes in a game? I just beat Sevilla 5 - 2 and Messi got 8 Key passes :D Had 9 CCC's :P

At least in real-life statistical analysis, key passes mean passes leading to shots.

What was the point? You play with Barca and 1 player (which happens to be the best in the world) got 8 key passes, no wonder if you ask me. For your information, 9 key passes is a pretty average for a mid-table team.

Just wanted to say rofl, take it easy.
And besides, that was only Messi's key passes. Not talking about that game's overall.
