Match Engine - minor issue

My brother recently got FM on his new laptop (the exact same one as mine) and I've noticed that he has coloured boots, under shorts and other minor details as well as a more fluid match engine than I have.

I was wondering if this was an update I've missed and if there is any way I could get it (although I have auto-update selected on my steam account).

This is probably a minor issue for many of you on here but I am very new to FM and PC gaming in general so any help would be greatly appreciated.

he might just have a better graphics card or settings on high. check your preferences.

I've just noticed my preferences are on low - changing that up should surely address the issue?
