Quick ?
Hw does the match preparation scheme work?
How often does it come up or do you have to go to it?
Thanx in advance

To put it simply it's the same as training, except for your team and not each player. You choose the formation(s) you want your side to play and simply choose the intensity.

A few days before each game you will get asked to sort your match preperation.

You can also access it via the menu (Team name>Match Preperation).

In there you can set three formations for your team to prepare for the match, increase workloads on certain areas (defensive positioning, attacking movement, defending/attacking set pieces. It also gives you past meetings info, dangerman info and scout reports for the opposition.

It also gives you your 'tactic familiarity levels' so you can see where needs improving.

You can set your assistant to do this in team settings.

Guys, when I've selected the tactics, there is no confirm button or anything so do I just press continue?

Please guys.. I don't understand. Why are 3 different tactics to choose and what is team blend?
Thanks

right, this is whats bugging me, so lets say i only use one tactic and all the bars are fully fluid. is there any point doing the match prep? i guess if i went below normal it might make them go down? haha

What exactly is team blend? I though it was just your team getting used to playing with each other and knowing each other's style, but my mate thinks it focuses on your team shape and positioning, so now im confused. :$

my point really was, does the amount of match prep affect how well you play or just the blue bars?

I think the match prep is ongoing, and how long it takes depends as usual on your players and coaches, with some tactics my players have been quick to learn, with others it has taken ages. The strange thing I have noticed in my Dundee save, is that the team does better just after i change my tactic, and then after 10 games or so they tail off, so I am on my 3rd tactic in a season. Should stay up though :-)
