Matches gone really slow/laggy

I'm still fairly new to FM. My matches have always been really slow and almost moved in stages. Last night I tried running the game in Steam offline mode and the matches looked amazing and ran perfectly smooth. I tried to do the same thing today and the matches are back to running slow and laggy again. Can anyone help/tell me why?

Do you run any other programme's when playing FM? IE- Youtube, Loads of Internet Tabs, Windows Media Player etc. That could be the cause. If you don't, it could be your computer performance.

No I don't, I make sure everything is closed. I just don't understand why there was such a big dip in performance in the space of a day.

I have found that patch 11.2 the match engine runs smoothly but soon as i patched it to 11.3 its really laggy and freezes sometimes i have no idear what the problem is
