Hi guys, I have been inspired by C.J.Lippo and decided to jump on the bandwagon and do a player story in preparation for FM16, for anyone that for some reason has not read it yet, I suggest you give it a quick look.. http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/foot...r-stories/292799-c-j-lippo-life-football.html

I will be following very much the same format, I am a young 15/16 year old English lad starting his fledgling career at in the under 18’s of lowly Welling United in the Vanarama Conference. I have given myself a CA of 75 and PA of -8, I have also left all stats at zero except Manager and I have also left all positions at zero allowing the football manager gods to decide my fate. I am sure by now many of you get how this works so let’s meet the young hopeful..

Matthew Bullard (AKA Bullardinho)

View attachment 279810(Unfortunately I was given the misfortune of being a Central Defender. I do have some very good stats for a 15 Year old, although I definitely hope the Dribbling and Off the ball stats improve.)

Bio: Matthew (Bullardinho) Bullard was born in Sidcup in 1998. From a very young age he showed a love and passion for football, he played for his local Sunday League team Crayford Arrows from the age of 5, during this time winning many a trophy and club awards, that was until a Scout from neighbouring town Welling recognised his potential as a Central Defender at the age of 15 and offered him trials with the Vanarama Conference club. Within weeks of impressing the clubs Under-18s Manager, he had signed his first contract and this is where our journey begins.. will ‘Bullardinho’ be the next ‘Wonderkid’ of English or even World football.. or will he remain in the ambiguity of the lower leagues.. Only time will tell!

Great start to my Welling United career, it may have only been a friendly but its a player of the match award all the same and against a far superior opposition. The only downside being I have picked up my first injury, a 12 day lay off with a 'gashed head', hopefully I will be back in the first team soon enough.

Professional Debut

First professional match of the season and I have made my debut, only managed a rating of 6.4 but at the ripe age of 16 years and 12 days I have become the youngest ever player to make a first team appearance.

First Professional Goal

Not only did I get my first professional goal for Welling United but I am now the youngest player to ever play in the FA Trophy.

The first team Manager Jody Brown has clearly seen my potential, handing me 18 starting appearances in the league as well as my debut in the FA Cup proper in the 1st Round. My average ratings haven't been great but the first team exposure will do my development the world of good.

At this stage my stats are pretty much the same but it has only been 6 months, I definitely think that I will need a move to a club with better staff and facilities if I am ever to reach my potential.

Good start to your career mate, I reckon a move maybe on the cards in the not so distant future. (H)

Cheers mate, it’s been a much better start than I expected. Hopefully you’re right, I would like a move to League One at least, I am hoping my career path takes me abroad eventually!

Performance

Overall my average performances weren't great but to start 36 first team matches in my first season at the age of 16 is brilliant and really good for my first team experience.

Player Stats

Nothing drastic has changed to my attributes but I don't expect much of a change seen as how the staff and facilities at Welling are shocking, hopefully a move will be on the cards soon.

Welling Performance

Welling did OK across the course of the season, they pretty much performed as expected, not much else to say.

Transfer Interest

There has been loads of interest in me after a good first season at Welling United, I hope my career path takes me to either Burnley, Derby and Fulham but we shall have to wait and see.

I am delighted with this move, its great to see that my potential has been recognised by one of the bigger clubs in England and Fulham are a perfect club to help me improve as a player.

Fulham Performance Last Season

So they managed to finish in the play-off places last season and they beat Wigan 4-2 in the Final. That means I am now officially a player at a Premiership club in just one season.

You beat me to the promised land! Nicely done though mate, should be a productive move.

Cheers buddy! It was purely down to the fact Welling barely have any recognised CB so I got loads of game time. If I remember rightly a certain Chris Smalling went from Maidstone to Fulham and then on to Man Utd shortly after... with any luck that could be me!
