Mick McCarthy's team selection against Manchester United on Tuesday was "grossly disrespectful", according to Wolves supporter chief Arthur Williams.

williams is right, it is disrespectful to the fans. this will come back to haunt them. why not play for the fans to try and beat Man U . It is like showing the Blue Hand. (Sorry for the FlashForward cliche)

I dont think it was that bad what he done...wolves have got a few injuries so wanted to rest some key players. All of them who played are professional footballers meaning they should be ready for a game and not just sit on the bench waiting for a **** team so that they can play. The fact they dobnt play all the time should matter that much because if they are never going to be played, why are they in the team

I can undestand the wolves fans being annoyed travelling to and paying to see the game but why are the premier league getting involved at the end of the day McCarthy is the manager and he can play any team he wants.:P

The wolves fans sang we want our money back at the game.XD

The EPL rules do state all teams should field a full strength team no matter what the opposition. It is pretty unfair because United were basically given 3 points on a golden plate which could change who wins the title at the end of the season.

It seems like that they were another team giving 3 points to United. Which it was so easy for us. :'(

To be fair those rules are bullshit. Last season against hull we played a reserve side and could of possibly affected the relegation battle and no one mentioned anything and we certainly weren't punished. Mick McCarthy's job is to do his best for wolves not to make sure the league is as fair as humanly possible even if it is not the best thing to do for wolves.

42 quid, to watch the reserves, 42 quid to watch the reserves, 42 quid to watch the reservesXD
